The Refuse to be a Victim course was developed to create and discuss strategies for local crime prevention, develop plans for personal safety, and to assist citizens in knowing how to plan and develop their own preparedness against criminals. The goal is "to promote public safety, law and order, and the national defense." This 4-hour course is classroom only, (no use of firearms or other weapons), includes student handbook, and is appropriate for home, office, school, and community settings. Class registration size should include at least 8 participants if possible. Registration fee is $35 per person. 15% discount will be available to all seniors, military (active or retired), First Responders, and Azle ISD employees.

Registration fees are non-refundable, but students may have the option of attending the next scheduled class if, for any reason, attendance in intended class is not possible.
